Rami Baglio is a New York City and Florence, MA-based artist. She received her BA in studio arts from Hampshire College in 2009 and her MFA from the New York Academy of Art in 2012. She has also studied life figure and portrait painting at Studio Escalier in France, and The Ryder Studio in Santa Fe, NM, and Florence Academy in Florence, Italy.
Growing up in East Aurora, NY, Rami was exposed to the arts through her years in Waldorf school, which gave her a strong creative foundation. Her curiosity and interest in human psychological development and the nature of life has informed her subject matter. Her paintings explore these ideas, especially through the lens of shared experience vs. individual experience.
